XMB 1.10.01, released on 30 October 2025, fixed a variety of error messages.

Since the first release of XMB 1.10, many documented improvements and bug fixes have been added. Everyone should consider how to take advantage of these free updates.

Do you need to patch your forum?

Anyone running version 1.10 can copy the latest files to benefit from these patches. No upgrade steps are required.

Patching simply means that your copy includes the latest bug fixes.

Updating your files

The easiest way to update your XMB 1.10 files is to download the latest full package and copy the new files over the old ones. The patched files are completely compatible with your XMB database.

If you have a Git clone of the XMB master branch, you can instead use git pull to retrieve the latest file changes. Note future updates might include dependency changes, in which case you should also use composer install to refresh those packages.

Updating your database

It should not be necessary to make any changes to your database during patch cycles. The XMB database structure is considered stable for each major version.
