Default Settings are the second group on the Settings Page.

Language:
Here you can set the default language of your forum. When guests view your forum this is what language they will see it in. It will also be the language that your members see it in unless they change it to another language in their control panel.

Theme:
Here you can set the default theme of your forum. When guests view your forum this is what theme they will see. It will also be the default theme for all members, unless they change their theme in their control panel.

Posts Per Page:
Here you can set the default number of posts per a page. When guests view your forum this is how many posts per a page they will see. This will also be the default for all members, unless they change it in their control panel.

Topics Per Page:
Here you can set the default number of topics per a page. When guests view your forum this is how many topics per a page they will see. This will also be the default for all members, unless they change it in their control panel.

Members Per Page:
Here you can set how many members you would like on a page of the members list. This setting cannot be changed by members in their member control panel. This is how many members per page everyone, including guests and yourself will see.

Time Format:
This allows you to change your forum from 24 hours to 12 hours. When set it is the default setting. When guests view your forum this is the time format that they will see. This will also be the default for all members, unless they change it in their control panel.

Date Format (mm/dd/yyyy, dd-mm-yy, etc):
This is where you can set how you would like the default date to appear. You can choose to have it as month(mm)/day(dd)/year(yyyy), dd-mm-yy ect. When guests view your forum this is the date format that they will see. This will also be the default for all members, unless they change it in their control panel.
